September 19, 1997 FREDERICK ARMAND ROMERO [#92423], 49, of Los Angeles was suspended for two years, stayed, and placed on three years of probation. He must prove his rehabilitation before being reinstated. The order took effect Sept. 19, 1997. Romero was disciplined in 1995 when he did not fulfill the requirements of a public reproval stemming from his conviction for two counts of battery on a custodial officer. The 1995 disciplinary order required him to attend ethics school and take the CPRE as part of his probation. His failure to do so led to the current discipline order. In mitigation, he suffers from depression. |
