June 18, 2016 ALICE BROWN TRAEG [#79823], 75, of San Francisco, was suspended from the practice of law for 30 days and placed on probation for two years. She must pass the State Bar’s Ethics School test and the MPRE. She must also submit the results of an examination of her mental and physical condition. The order took effect June 18, 2016. Traeg was terminated from the State Bar’s Alternative Discipline Program in 2015, which triggered the present discipline. She stipulated earlier that she failed to competently perform legal services for clients in multiple cases, causing significant harm to the administration of justice. In mitigation, Traeg had nearly 35 years of discipline-free practice. |
