Discipline Summaries
August 18, 2012 DAVID ESTEL ALLEN JR., 64, of Vista was suspended for one year, stayed, placed on one year of probation and was ordered to take the MPRE. The order took effect Aug. 18, 2012. Allen stipulated that he failed to account for client funds or cooperate with a bar investigation. While representing the plaintiff in a case, Allen did not respond to her letters and emails expressing concern about his failure to perform. She and her husband also asked repeatedly that Allen account for their fee, which he did not do.He was publicly reproved in 2007. |
