Doran’s default was entered because she did not respond to a notice of hearing on conviction. She was disbarred under rule 5.85 of the State Bar’s Rules of Procedure because she did not move to have the default set aside or vacated within 180 days.Doran was convicted in three separate criminal matters of driving under the influence with a blood alcohol level of .08 or higher, two counts of knowingly driving on a suspended license, public intoxication and driving under the influence.In one of the cases, Doran was arrested in November 2009 after an officer noticed her driving excessively slow and drifting. She was determined to have a blood alcohol level of .26 percent. In another, she was arrested after she was found lying in a walkway obviously drunk. |
