September 21, 2013 HENRY DORAME NUNEZ [#63412], 66, of Fresno, was suspended for one year, stayed, placed on one year of probation and ordered to take the MPRE. The order took effect Sept. 21, 2013. Nunez stipulated that he failed to perform legal services with competence and failed to keep a client informed of significant developments in one matter. Nunez was hired in 2006 in his capacity as a bankruptcy trustee in a matter pending in bankruptcy court. During the course of the case, Nunez received discovery requests but failed to respond, resulting in $6,025 in sanctions against his client as well as evidentiary sanctions.In mitigation, Nunez has no prior record of discipline and entered into a pre-trial stipulation with the State Bar. |
