August 27, 2005 MICHAEL PATRICK MOORE [#55359], 61, of Berkeley was suspended for two years, stayed, placed on four years of probation with a nine-month actual suspension and was ordered to take the MPRE within one year. Credit toward the actual suspension will be given for a period of interim suspension that began Aug. 6, 2004. The order took effect Aug. 27, 2005. Moore pleaded no contest in 2004 to felony marijuana cultivation. He was arrested in 2000 following a police raid that turned up 290 marijuana plants in his home, three pounds of packaged marijuana, 13 grams of cocaine, 12 grams of hash, 13 weapons, including assault rifles and pistols, ammunition, weapons accessories and a bullet-proof vest. Five of the original six counts were dropped after Moore’s plea.In mitigation, Moore has no prior record of discipline, no clients were harmed, he demonstrated remorse and cooperated with the bar’s investigation, and he suffers from a medical condition that is directly related to the misconduct.August 9, 2004 MICHAEL P.
