February 13, 1997 LESLIE R. CHETTLE [#47580], 52, of Pleasant Hill was suspended for two years, stayed, placed on two years of probation with a requirement that he make restitution, and was ordered to take the MPRE within one year. The order took effect Feb. 13, 1997. In two cases, Chettle failed to communicate with his clients and withdrew from employment without protecting their interests. Chettle had no discipline record in more than 25 years of practice. In addition, he suffered serious financial problems and was evicted from his building without access to his files. He also was assaulted by a client and separated from his wife. |
