January 7, 2015 KOUSHA BEROKIM [#242763], 33, of Beverly Hills, was suspended from the practice of law for 30 days and was ordered to take the MPRE. He was also placed on two years’ probation and faces a one-year suspension if he does not comply with the terms of his disciplinary probation. The order took effect Jan. 7, 2015. Berokim stipulated that from April 1, 2011 to May 30, 2012, he commingled personal funds in his client trust account and used it to pay multiple personal expenses. In mitigation, Berokim acknowledged his wrongdoing and expressed remorse, entered into a pretrial stipulation and presented evidence of his good character. |
