ANDREW FAIRMONT BEACH [#227333], 39, of Westminster, was suspended from the practice of law for 90 days and ordered to take the MPRE and comply with rule 9.20 of the California Rules of Court. He was also placed on one year of probation and faces a one-year suspension if he does not comply with the terms of his disciplinary probation. The order took effect July 16, 2015.

In one matter he was disciplined for, Beach falsely reported he had completed his MCLE requirements when he hadn’t. In another, he failed to comply with the terms of his disciplinary probation by not submitting three quarterly reports or a final report to the Office of Probation on time or providing proof he’d joined the Law Practice Management and Technology Section of the State Bar as required.

In mitigation, he entered into a pretrial stipulation with the State Bar.

He had one prior record of discipline, a 2011 suspension for failing to perform legal services competently, sharing fees with a non-lawyer and compensating someone for securing his employment.

September 17, 2011

ANDREW FAIRMONT BEACH [#], 35, of Newport Beach was suspended for one year, stayed, placed on two years of probation and ordered to take the MPRE within one year. The order took effect Sept. 17, 2011.

Beach stipulated to four counts of misconduct involving two couples who hired him, through his agent, Wisdom Financial Services, to negotiate loan modifications.

He admitted he failed to supervise WSF and thus did not perform legal services competently, shared fees with a non-lawyer, and compensated someone for securing his employment.

In mitigation, he cooperated with the bar’s investigation and he provided references to demonstrate his good character.
