Woghiren’s default was entered after she failed to respond to charges that she engaged in the unauthorized practice of law, charged an illegal fee, misappropriated money, failed to pay client funds promptly, failed to notify her client of the receipt of funds and failed to cooperate with a State Bar investigation. Woghiren also made misrepresentations to a client and the client’s former attorney that she was entitled to practice law when, in fact, she had been suspended for non-payment of bar dues.Woghiren was ordered to pay $1,500 in restitution, plus interest. |
