The order took effect June 18, 2016. Harmon stipulated that he mishandled funds in his client trust account in connection with an insurance settlement for clients.There were no aggravating circumstances. In mitigation, Harmon had no prior record of discipline. He spontaneously contacted the affected clients before the State Bar instigated proceedings to explain and apologize for his error. He showed remorse and recognition of his wrongdoing. |
