May 10, 2013 ADRIAN HENRY TRIMINIO [#192894], 45, of Fountain Valley was suspended for two years, stayed, placed on two years of probation with an actual 90-day suspension and was ordered to take the MPRE and pay restitution. The order took effect May 10, 2013. Triminio stipulated that he accepted an $18,000 settlement offer without his client’s permission and failed to appear at subsequent hearings, which led to her case being dismissed. Triminio did not tell the client that her case was about to be dismissed and filed a request for dismissal, an act that involved moral turpitude. He also failed to pay $500 in court sanctions or to tell the client that sanctions had been imposed by the court.Triminio was ordered to pay $13,500 in restitution. In mitigation, he had no record of discipline and entered into a stipulation with the State Bar prior to trial. |
