Discipline Summaries

May 27, 2015

DOUGLAS ALAN BADER [#182315], 50, of Corona, was suspended from the practice of law for 60 days and ordered to take the MPRE. He was also placed on two years’ probation and faces a two-year suspension if he does not comply with the terms of his disciplinary probation. The order took effect May 27, 2015.

Bader pleaded guilty in 2012 and 2014 to driving without a valid license. The conviction stemmed from his 2011 arrest for driving on a suspended license and with expired registration. In 2014, he pleaded guilty in another case to driving under the influence and being under the influence of methamphetamine.

In mitigation, he had no prior record of discipline and entered into a pretrial stipulation with the State Bar.
