DAVID JOSEPH CARRIERE [#178002], 44, of Corte Madera was suspended for one year and ordered to comply with rule 9.20 of the California Rules of Court. The order took effect Feb. 13, 2014.

Carriere’s probation was revoked after he failed to comply with the conditions of a 2013 disciplinary order. Carriere did not contact the Office of Probation within 30 days of the effective date of his discipline and did not submit one of the required quarterly reports.

Carriere had two prior records of discipline. In 2010, he was publicly reproved following convictions for battery on a cohabitant and brandishing a deadly weapon. In 2012, he was suspended for not complying with a term of the reproval – successfully completing the MPRE and providing proof to the Office of Probation.

April 6, 2013

DAVID JOSEPH CARRIERE [#178002], 43, of Corte Madera, was suspended for one year, stayed, placed on two years of probation and was ordered to take the MPRE. The order went into effect April 6, 2013.

Carriere stipulated that he did not comply with the conditions of a 2010 public reproval by failing to provide proof of taking and passing the MPRE by August 4, 2011 or April 20, 2012. The reproval was imposed following his conviction for domestic battery and brandishing a weapon.
