September 28, 2005 NATASHA ANKE KOTTO [#161806], 42, of Los Angeles was suspended for three years, stayed, placed on five years of probation with an 18-month actual suspension and was ordered to take the MPRE, comply with rule 955 and prove her rehabilitation. The order took effect Sept. 28, 2005. Kotto stipulated that she failed to comply with probation conditions attached to a 2002 disciplinary order. She filed a rule 955 affidavit late and did not submit two quarterly probation reports, proof of attendance at Alcoholics Anonymous meetings, a written criminal probation report or proof of psychiatric treatment.Kotto was convicted of driving under the influence in 1999 and violated probation by failing to complete a six-month alcohol and drug rehab program and driving a car when she had “a measurable amount of alcohol†in her system in 2000. She received a second DUI conviction as a result of the 2000 arrest. Her failure to comply with the discipline requirements imposed in 2001 led to the underlying discipline in this case.In mitigation, she cooperated with the bar’s investigation.October 4, 2002 NATASHA A. The order took effect Oct. 4, 2002. Kotto failed to comply with probation conditions attached to a 2001 discipline: She did not submit quarterly probation reports on time, file statements that she complied with an underlying criminal probation or submit proof of attendance at five Alcoholics Anonymous meetings per week. She also did not attend ethics school or take the MPRE.Kotta was convicted of driving under the influence in 1999 and violated probation by failing to complete a six-month alcohol and drug rehab program and driving a car when she had "a measurable amount of alcohol" in her system in 2000.
