February 11, 2010 MICHAEL JAMES BARSI [#159970], 46, of Aptos, was suspended for 90 days, stayed and placed on probation for one year, and he must take the MPRE. The order took effect Feb. 11, 2010. Barsi pleaded no contest to two — battery and false imprisonment — of four 2008 charges involving an altercation with his estranged wife. According to the stipulation, Barsi pushed his wife so that she stumbled and fell, threw her cell phone away, followed her into an office and pulled and pushed her again. The misdemeanor crime did not involve moral turpitude, the stipulation said, “but did involve other conduct warranting discipline.†|
