Discipline Summaries

February 25, 2009

CAROLYN PROBASCO GALLINGHOUSE [#149650], 51, of Saratoga Springs, Utah was suspended for one year, stayed, placed on two years of probation and was ordered to take the MPRE within one year. The order took effect Feb. 25, 2009.

Gallinghouse stipulated that she practiced law while suspended for non-compliance with MCLE requirements. Although she says she did not receive three notices of her suspension, she stipulated that she should have been aware of her status. While suspended, she made two court appearances.

In mitigation, Gallinghouse has no discipline record, had severe family problems at the time, and was in an automobile accident that required her to have back surgery. She was unable to work for more than a year.
