October 19, 1996 MOHAMMAD P. SABOORIAN [#140992], 44, of Beverly Hills was suspended for two years, stayed, placed on two years of probation, and was ordered to take the MPRE within one year. The order took effect Oct. 19, 1996. Saboorian pleaded no contest last year to one count of misdemeanor sexual battery after he was charged with orally copulating a person under 18, a felony. He was placed on three years of probation and was ordered to pay his victim up to $4,000 in restitution for counseling, perform 100 hours of community service and attend six months of therapy. An evaluation by a psychologist found that Saboorian's conduct was most likely the result of a momentary lapse in judgment and not part of a pattern of abuse. |
