August 9, 2001 MARTIN S. ROSMAN [#140374], 40, of San Francisco was summarily disbarred Aug. 9, 2001, and ordered to comply with rule 955 of the California Rules of Court. The disbarment followed a 1999 federal conviction in which Rosman pleaded guilty to one count of money laundering/ aiding and abetting. He had been on interim suspension since November 1999.The U.S. District Court sentenced Rosman to 12 months’ imprisonment to be served in a halfway house and a $100 fine.An attorney may be summarily disbarred if convicted of a felony that involves the intent to deceive or moral turpitude.
