He also faces a one-year suspension if he does not comply with the terms of his disciplinary probation. The order took effect April 26, 2015. Rothschild stipulated to the circumstances surrounding his 2014 conviction for reckless driving. The night of Jan. 21, 2013, Rothschild was headed home in Santa Monica when he struck a bicyclist riding outside of a bike lane. He stopped, rendered aid and called 911. When officers arrived and asked if he had been drinking, he said no. However, he failed a field sobriety test and was found to have a blood alcohol level of .087 percent.In mitigation, he had no prior record of discipline and entered into a pretrial stipulation with the State Bar. |
