ANGELA ROSSI [#131581], 44, of Los Angeles was suspended for one year, stayed, placed on two years of probation and was ordered to take the MPRE within one year. The order took effect Jan.13, 2005.

Rossi allowed her attorney husband, Kevin W. Yeam, to use her name and to operate a law firm called “Yeam & Rossi,” including the use of the firm name on letterhead, pleadings, a client trust account and checks. Rossi has never practiced in partnership with Yeam, who is self-employed. Rossi has been an associate or partner in other law firms since 1987.

She stipulated that by permitting her husband to operate a law firm using her name, she communicated a false and deceptive message that tended to mislead or deceive the public.

In mitigation, she has no record of discipline.
