February 28, 2015 JANET MARIE HERRING [#110676], 69, of Victorville, was disbarred Feb. 28, 2015 and ordered to comply with rule 9.20 of the California Rules of Court. Herring did not respond to a notice of disciplinary charges filed against her leading to her default being entered. Because she did not seek to have her default set aside within 180 days as required under rule 5.85 of the State Bar’s Rules of Procedures, the State Bar moved to disbar her. The charges against Herring were deemed admitted. She committed an act of moral turpitude by intentionally or grossly negligently breaching her fiduciary duty as trustee to a trust beneficiary and failed to cooperate in a disciplinary investigation. |
