March 15, 1997 DEBRA BROUSSARD [#108245], 39, of Camarillo was disbarred March 15, 1997, and ordered to comply with rule 955. Broussard's problems began with a discipline order in 1995 as a result of her mishandling of a personal injury case. She failed to communicate with her client or keep him informed of developments in the case, failed to perform legal services competently, and withdrew from employment without protecting her client's interests. Several months later, Broussard's probation was revoked, she was suspended for 90 days and was ordered to comply with rule 955 by notifying all pertinent parties of her suspension. She made no effort to comply with rule 955 and did not participate in the proceedings. Broussard's exact whereabouts are unknown to the bar.November 12, 1995 The probation of DEBRA BROUSSARD [#108245], 38, of Camarillo was revoked effective Nov. 12, 1995, and the previously ordered stay of suspension lifted.
